How can I find out more about the way you work?
The education packs that accompany our productions for adults provide a considerable amount of background to Alibi’s method of working. You can find them linked to individual productions on this website. Due to pressure of time it’s not always possible to give specific answers to research questions.

Do you run workshops?
We regularly organise workshops and events for Drama Teachers and primary school teachers at our base in Exeter and occasionally run other workshops on request.

I’m a Theatre Practitioner - how can I work with you?
We’re happy to receive c.vs from actors and other practitioners, which are kept on file (subject to the terms of Data Protection) and referred to when we’re resourcing projects. The company has a Diversity & Equality Policy and we welcome applications from practitioners of all backgrounds and abilities. We encourage you to see our work first if possible and to let us know where we can see yours.

Do you offer work experience or placements?
We can occasionally offer work experience placements to Drama students at A Level and beyond during production times. We regularly offer placements to Theatre Design students and many of our Designers and Design Assistants have come to us via this route. Each year we also offer a paid Stage Management internship - please click here for more information.

How do you work with writers?
The company has developed a close working relationship with writer Daniel Jamieson, and occasionally works with other writers. We don’t accept unsolicited scripts.

Do you offer educational resources?
Alongside all productions we offer high quality free education packs. DVD recordings are also available to enable Drama students to study our productions to exam level. Please contact us at info@theatrealibi.co.uk for more information.

How can a school book a production?
Theatre Alibi tours its productions for children to primary and special schools in Devon and the South West in the autumn term. Information is sent out to all schools in these areas in the spring and booking is by phone, fax and online.

When & where do you tour?
