Veerle Kerckhoven

Veerle studied romance languages and literature at Leuven University and obtained a Master’s degree in theatre and film studies in 1994. Veerle started her professional life by teaching French. A school project brought her into contact with BRONKS and Oda Van Neygen, then Artistic Manager, asked her to come and work for BRONKS. Veerle started at BRONKS in 2004 with responsibility for international touring/coaching and networking. A few years later, she had the opportunity to lead various BRONKS productions and co-ordinated the art educational operation STUDIO BRONKS. In 2014, she took over the artistic management of the house.

Randi De Vlieghe

Randi is a choreographer, dancer, theatre maker and actor. He graduated from the Flemish Dance Academy in 1994 and masters the cross-­over between dance, theatre and performance like nobody else. A selection of the many productions he (co-)created: Ola Pola Potloodgat (BRONKS, 2002), Warmoes (Studio ORKA, 2010), ZOO doen ze de dingen (hetpaleis & fABULEUS, 2012), Popcorn (Moldavië & fABULEUS, 2016) and more… Ola Pola Potloodgat won him both the TheaterFestival prize and the 1000 Watt prize. In 2008 he was awarded the Cultuurprijs voor Jeugdtheater and in 2015 the VSCD Mimeprijs for his show Voetbal op hoge hakken (KOPERGIETERY).

Erin Walcon (FACILITATOR)

Erin is a lecturer at Exeter University & Co-Director of Doorstep Arts and member of Theatre Alibi’s Board. Erin works as a Lecturer in Applied & Educational Theatre at the University of Exeter. She is Co-Director of Doorstep Arts in Torbay: a grassroots organisation providing sustainable long-term participatory arts enrichment for children and young people in an area of statistically low socio-economic status. Doorstep Arts is part of the Collaborative Touring Network (2013-2023), building connections between outstanding touring performance and ongoing participatory work at various regions across the UK.  She also serves as the drama advisor for the MA in Creative Arts in Education, within the Graduate School of Education on the St Lukes campus.
