Join Mothers Who Make for an inclusive and revolutionary performance platform in Exeter. Local mothers will share spoken word, stories and songs exploring everything from mythology, domesticity and power. They will be joined by the brilliant mother and spoken word artist, Liv Torc, who will headline the event with her rousing and timely poems.
Expect both a relaxed and lively atmosphere, where everyone is welcome. Children are welcome too and their needs will have equal status in the room. There will be some lovely toys from Merry Go Round Toy Library for them to explore. The mothers who take to the mic may have children on stage with them. The content of the show is adult centered but we will be mindful of little ears.
Our Workshop Bar ran by Ebdon’s will be open and ready with teas, coffees, cakes and refreshments.
So, book your ticket and join us for a relaxed afternoon of spoken word or…
