Big silly sing is back! Singing Workshops for 7-11 Year Olds
After the success of Big Silly Sing earlier in the year, Alibi is joining forces with Laura Loft from Big Music Collective, Hattie Brown (PaddleBoat Theatre) and Helen Bovey (Above Bounds) to bring young singers another exciting series of fun and interactive singing workshops!
These sessions are all about building confidence, exploring new styles, and having a fantastic time making music together. And this term will be themed around the wonderful world of Jazz. So come along, meet new friends and have go as we sing a selection of jazzy, wintery themed songs leaning into our warm dulcet tones, rhythmic swoons and jazzy sass!
And that’s not all (drum roll please)…for the first time at Big Silly Sing, we will be taking to the stage to join professional musicians from St Thomas Jazz Collective in a live gig to showcase our wonderful singing at the Alibi Winter Festival on Saturday 19th December.
Term will end with a sharing for family and friends on Thursday 17th December, and a public performance as part of the Alibi Family Jazz event, where the children will sing live with St Thomas Jazz Collective Band on Saturday 19th December.
No experience is needed to be part of Big Silly Sing, it’s all about having fun, learning some new things and making friends in a supportive environment.
