Last October at Emmanuel Hall we held a St Thomas Exhibition when there were over a thousand visits.
A lot has changed since then.
In May 2020 we were going to put on a show based on the wonderful stories we’d heard. Although that’s been postponed until next year, we didn’t want to leave it at that. It seemed to us that after lockdown we needed stories, live music and a bit of fun more than ever and we wanted to work out a way to reach you safely.
So, in September 2020 we created ‘St Thomas Story Tours’ for free. Over 200 people came with us on a gentle walk around St Thomas, starting from Emmanuel Hall with stops along the way hearing stories and listening to songs about this most special of places.
All ages were welcome and the route was fine for pushchairs, slower walkers and wheelchairs and we carefully limited numbers following COVID safe guidelines.
Chris Jones made this beautiful video with footage from the walks;
