Gather round for a joyful weekly music session designed especially for little ones and their grown-ups
Led by Laura Loft of Big Music Collective, Little Music Makers invites children aged 2–5 to explore the magic of sound through story, song, and play. Each week we’ll gather in a cosy, creative space centred around a “campfire,” sharing songs and stories, and experimenting with a range of instruments. It’s a relaxed, welcoming environment where children can listen, move, and make music freely — and parents can join in too!
Whether your child loves to sing, tap out rhythms, or simply watch and listen, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. These sessions are all about discovery, connection, and the simple joy of making music together.
When: Thursdays from 10am – 11am, 1 7 Sep – 10 Dec

Suitable for: 2 – 5 year olds, babes in arms are welcome with their older siblings

Laura Loft is a South West based Music Creator, Educator, Songwriter, Lyricist, Author and Performer.A storyteller, a ukulele player and a rhyming, singing and composing dweller, she set up BIG MUSIC COLLECTIVE writing musical stories including her self-published book Big Emotions: Mindful Music For Little People and latest
book Big Dreams: Imaginative Songs. Laura’s background is in Music Performance, Songwriting & Education as a facilitator, workshop leader and Music Lead delivering National Music Curriculum in Primary Schools with a focus on using music for wellbeing.
