Become part of the Alibi team
Volunteers are an essential part of our community here at Theatre Alibi. We are small company made up of lots of different components which, combined, make our work possible. We have our small office team (see who we are here), the professional artists, who work with us creative projects, and we have our wonderful volunteers.
We are in an exciting period of change as we transition to being a Centre for the Imagination, with lots of exciting events coming up. And we’ll need your help to keep these events running smoothly!
CURRENT OPPORTUNITY
Volunteer for Winterwood – A unique festive experience here in Exeter
14th December – 5th January at Theatre Alibi
Pssst… would you like to be a part of a truly unique Christmas experience, right you on your doorstep?… and bring a smile to children’s faces? … all whilst supporting a brilliant local charity bringing a dash of sparkle and joy to children across the city Then look no further. This festive season Emmanuel Hall will be transformed into a real, magical pine tree forest offering an event for children and their grown-ups like no other in the city, and we are looking for volunteers to support this magical event.
From ushering, collecting feedback and being a friendly face for our audiences, to running our pop-up cafe, we’d love your support to bring Winterwood to life.
If you would like to volunteer for Winterwood, email Hattie at Theatre Alibi, hattie@theatrealibi.co.uk by the 2nd December, please also let us know if you are available for the training day on the 11th December from 6 – 7.30pm. We will start offering shifts as soon as you reply confirming your interest, so make sure you get in touch sooner rather than later so you can grab the shift times and dates you would like.
