Stand Up! (And Boogie)

A mini flash mob (of sorts) which toured to primary schools from Monday 18th October 2021

A cleaner and an Ofsted Inspector are quietly carrying out their jobs in a South West Primary school, when it gradually becomes clear that there’s a lot more to them than meets the eye… Culminating in a joyful extravaganza of live music, wonderful dance and fantastically extravagant costumes, the pupils come to know these larger than life characters for who they really are and are given the chance to join in on a celebration of the pair’s new found confidence.

Watch the video below of Stand Up! (And Boogie) at  Beacon C of E Primary School primary school.

The children from Reception to Year 6 had no trouble suspending their disbelief and it was such a fitting way to reflect on their own feelings. Thank you so much for keep the magic of performance and storytelling alive during these times.
