Summer School 2024

By Anthos Arts

We are delighted to be teaming up with Anthos Arts to deliver their first ever summer school! This summer, Anthos Arts will take to Emmanuel Hall, our Centre for the Imagination, for a week of drama (including acting, puppetry and physical theatre) culminating in a final performance based on Alice in Wonderland for family and friends. Will you find the white rabbit, make it past the Tweedles, and evade the wicked Queen of Hearts? You’ll have to join in to find out!

For ages 6-11, the summer school is the perfect place for creative young people who love Drama, or who want to give it a go for the first time.

Anthos Arts are an Exeter based theatre school who have been working with children and young people in the city since 2015, delivering fun, quality Drama lessons to all ages.

‘Love the sense of team you create. I feel like that is very special and I love that you seem to prioritise this. C clearly has a strong sense of belonging, feels able to contribute, to join in with jokes, games and play, and feels heard/seen. It's so nice to see him smiling and happy after his sessions.’

‘They love it. They love the games. They love the movement. They are obviously made to feel so safe and free of 'performance anxiety'!’
