Little Music Makers – Special Celebration
Thursday 12 February | 10am – 12pm

We’re absolutely thrilled with the response to Little Music Makers. Since launching in September 2025, sessions have been fully booked week after week! To celebrate, we’re hosting a very special event and opening up our main hall to welcome even more wonderful little ones and their families.
Whether you’ve joined us once or twice and struggled to get a space since, you’re a regular attendee, or you’ve never been before but are curious to see what it’s all about — this celebration is for you. Come along and be part of the fun!
What’s happening:
  • 10.00 – 10.45am: Structured music-making session and free play exploring a range of instruments (please book via Little Music Makers)

  • 10.45 – 11.00am: Storytime

  • 11.00am – 12.00pm: Interactive pop-up café with drawing, music, and relaxed chats

A joyful morning of music, creativity, and connection — we can’t wait to celebrate with you and your little music makers

Alibi’s home is Emmanuel Hall, St Thomas Exeter EX4 1EJ.

We are located 0.7 miles from Exeter city centre. Our closest bus stop is 0.3 miles away, at Exe Bridges.

Public parking at Alibi is reserved for staff and Blue Badge holders only. Unless you are using a Blue Badge parking space, to avoid disturbing our neighbours please don’t drive down Emmanuel Road – there’s very little space and it’s hard to turn around!

There is one Blue Badge parking space which is available on a first come, first served basis, and there is another Blue Badge parking space on Emmanuel Road. Our closest pay and display car park is 0.2 miles away on Okehampton Street, and costs £2 for 2 hours parking and £3 for 3 hours. If you have any concerns about parking please get in touch with access@theatrealibi.co.uk.

No – all children must be accompanied by a grown-up.

To help you know what to expect when you’re with us, our events are grouped into a few simple categories. Little Music Makers is a DISCOVER event: a chance for little ones to explore something new, with their grown-ups.

The first of these sessions will be taking place in our Studio which is accessed via a flight of 16 stairs with a landing halfway up. The remaining sessions will take place in our Main Hall, which is a large space accessed via the front doors of the building, or via our step-free entrance at the rear of the building.

Please get in touch if you have any questions, access@theatrealibi.co.uk.

All sessions will be relaxed and child-led, and there will be no expectations on silence or behaviour.

We aim to create an inclusive and welcoming space for all our visitors. If you, or anyone in your group, have specific access needs or sensory requirements, feel free to get in touch in advance so we can support your visit: access@theatrealibi.co.uk
